Qgis2Web is a robust Qgis plugin that is 8 years old, has more than 177 releases and allows a normal Qgis user to fly to the web with minimal knowledge of html, javascript or other web standards.

Hosting websites and specially spatial websites without restrictions and end of trial periods is also a challenge. Github has an option to upload and host a website just with your own account.

This tutorial covers the whole procedure to develop and host a spatial website that represents a dataset of water chemistry parameters and hydrological features with different options for layer representation, menus, scales and popups.
